Divisions/Seasons
Divisions
MenifeeASA players are placed into one of the five divisions based on their age:
T-Ball (5-6 yrs)
8U (7-8 yrs)
10U (9-10 yrs)
12U (11-12 yrs)
16U (13-16 yrs)
Seasons
MenifeeASA consists of two seasons. Fall Ball and Spring Ball. There are some fundamental differences between the two. Below is a contrast of the seasons:
FALL BALL:
Begins at the end of August and ends in the beginning of November. Consists of 10 to 14 games. The emphasis is developing the players skills. There are no standings or tournament at the end of the season. Players and coaches focus on improving skills through practices and season play.
SPRING BALL:
Begins in early part of February and ends in early May. Consists of 15 to 22 games. Including an end of Season Tournament. This season is competitive girls softball at its finest. Tournament play determines the Champions.
ALL STARS:
After Spring Ball, MenifeeASA chooses its best season players to represent the league in ALL STARS! This is almost like a season itself. These teams compete in tournaments with hopes of advancing through district, state and more!
